I'm an Assistant Professor of Social Work at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I received my PhD in Social Work and Sociology from the University of Michigan in 2022. During my doctoral education, I was a demography trainee at the Population Studies Center at the Institute for Social Research, and a collaborator at the Parenting in Context Research Lab at the School of Social Work. Prior to my doctoral training, I worked at the Center for Research on Child Wellbeing at Princeton University.

My research examines how family processes and social policies contribute to child and family wellbeing. Motivated by a children’s rights framework, my primarily line of research (1) examines the correlates and consequences of family violence and (2) evaluates approaches to prevent family violence. I am open to collaboration with both academic and community partners. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you'd like to connect!
